This is dope. I would go on, but I don't want to spoil this magical moment.

landon91 responds:

Hey, thanks man. I would go on too, but again, don't wanna spoil anything.

Very solemn intro, that phazy held string note(?) motif which plays predominantly throughout is nicely established here. Really like the harshness of that compares to the light and delicateness of the bells. My favourite aspect of this beat is the build up and transition; there's a dynamic feel here. I'm not too keen on the outro, it felt a bit abrupt. I really liked the piano touch though; I would suggest some of instruments from the intro to accompany the keys on a solemn outro fade of a couple bars. Overall, good beat, great feel, spin worthy.

carl565 responds:

I seem to hit one or the other, the into or the outro, never both, haha. That's mostly because I save one or the other for the tail-end of the project and whatever I work on last, usually is abrupt. It's laziness, if I were to be perfectly honest with you, haha. I need to stop being lazy with how I create my songs. Its become way too habitual for me and I think a lot of potential is lost from it. I'm glad you liked the song though. Thanks for the review!

Catchy tune and up tempo beat. The lead in is good and the verse/chorus transitions were a bit abrupt, but that works with the vibe of this beat. The chip tune drop in @ 2:36 was interesting; I was kinda hoping a chip tune rendition of the melody was gonna rock. I think the levels sound alright, high, mids, and lows sound like they are balanced, I also like bass heavy music, so I may be biased. Dope beat.

Rekuiem responds:

thanks brother, the suggestion is inspiring! I think I hear something new :D Appreciate it so much!

Oh my gravy, this is grimy. Awesome structure here, the interlude with those low strings! Blam, salt and pepper. The reversed string sample almost like a bagpipe, i like that. I think I've heard this before, still dope doe

Libby-Shimmz responds:

Danke Mao!

I like this. A really good mix here. The videogame sfx, orchestra and grungy bass somehow work well together here. The build up is great too. Well done. lack of laziness shows off!

Akaruhime responds:

thank you very much! i've been putting music on hold till I can think of something just as good to make~<3

PS: glad ya liked it!

Wow. Great atmosphere here. That echoey hollow stick sound, with the vibey synthetics, such an intriguing mix, you made it work! Solid song, from beginning to end, the outro is awesome, simple and effective.

DarkHorseOrchestra responds:

Thanks, I actually saw your news post for "Under The Surface", dope picture.

This is awesome. Not necessarily this song, but the process of making it; diggin that communal collaborative trip.
Lyrics are funny as fuck. Delivery and flow are on point. Mixing on the NG version seems a bit low (vocal audibility wise) in comparison to the Youtube version.
That beat is fire!

AnalogByNature responds:

thanks for your review; higher quality for physical release. maybe put this vulgarity on some vinyl one day...

Awesome beat here! The piano keys are a nice touch on this grimey sound. Ends a bit abruptly, do you plan on extending this one?

Czyszy responds:

Thanks! This beat is mostly a test of some new sound libraries. FYI even though it sounds like it's sampled, it's 100% composed by moi. As for the extension.. hmm.. perhaps. I dunno. Right now I'm taking a break from beats in order to make more prog stuff.

Lyrics are really good. The audibility was clear and for the most vocals were level with the beat (2nd verse sounded a bit low...) . The hook is great; the mixed in rap adlibs add a nice touch too. I'm not sure about the low pitched dub track though... the consistent dual ranged vocals sound too repetitive. Personally, I prefer hearing them on emphasis words or phrases, rather than on everything... The delivery is decent. I thought the intro verse sounded a bit constrained (but maybe that was intentional because it works to fit the bar content), in the later verses, your flow is much more on point and the delivery sounds more enthused. Lots of tonal fluctuations and stretches; i like it! Beat is pretty dope too, did you make it?

gray1 responds:

yeah made everything. was my first time recording myself got a decent mic. but im vocal eqing isn't there yet. i didn't really know what i was doing. i was very hesitant to add the deep vocal thro the whole thing but you know that feeling i just hated the sound of my own voice. i donno i was going to have a friend of mine zodiax on newgrounds help me out with it when i get a chance to edit it he has a little more experience with recording than i do. i absolutely hate my chorus. the last two verses were free styled. i was making the beat and rapping at the same time lol. i have so many junk wave files

diggin this. crazy ass lyricism here! Outro bit was a nice touch.

SucoVidya responds:

Thanks!

Its what I do for fun.
