P64: Diggin his steady/calm style and the pokemon references in his 2nd verse were aight (but Magikarp and Charzard are a bit overused). I found his flow more inviting to the ear.
Wyze: The aggression in his second was good. the steve irwin flip "I ALREADY KILLED YOU!" was awesome. The 1st verse sounded iffy on the delivery, a few slips made some lines clooey.

I'd rather hear P64 on a conscious track, I'd rather hear Wyze try to drink crack water. (?) I'm going to go with Wyze for that over the top delivery and harder shots.

Rampant: MC Esther reference= awesome. Flow= slurry/rushed. Material/Ammo: American politician diss was weak, the vocab was good though. Delivery= I really like the character he puts into his verses, just wish he took the time to make it more audible and sluggish.

Blest: Mao Zedong reference= awesome. Flow= on point but a lil less enthused then the last battle. Material/Ammo: clever flips and interesting content; "spent more time editing voice then dissing me". Delivery: Audible but could've used more energy and emotional commitment.

Gotta go with Blest for the advance. Not only were his shots harder but his flips were so firm and concrete that they stunned Rampant in his tracks (metaphorically). Props to each, this was dope battle to start the madness off.

Long live hip hop.

yes I want.

Gasmasq: Aggressive approach. The construction of the bars around the sampled vocs and BCT's "I secretly <3 your music" was genius. Some humorous lines; red-headed step child, N1k Mug shot. Didn't get the Jonathan switch writtens though... The impersonation in second verse was great. The flow was on point. The second verse was better out of his two, the "candid" delivery was greatly executed, but the bars in the "awkward part" of the beat sounded a bit off.

BummerCityTown: Cool, calm and collective. The rebuttals were better performed imo than Gas'. Bummer's flow is very refreshing and entertaining. A few of the lines were kinda very corny "Goldilocks"? Really? oh well it made me laugh regardless. Some of the rhymes could've been more complex, mostly in the first verse though, although to content was relevant.

I give Gasmasq points on energy, references and delivery. I give Bummer points for flow, charisma, clarity and humour. Ultimately this battle was won by "Lightning Bolt" . After numerous listens that line hasn't got old yet and makes me giggle every time. Also, Gas's "teachery" second verse conflicts with my own personal didactic philosophies: how can he claim to be a teacher then call a "student" "stupid", that's a no-no in the profession.

I gotta give this one to BummerCityTown by a silky smooth pubic hair. Props to both, this battle was epic. Big props to Gunner-D, he's my favourite collaborator ever : P !

This is better then the hype track, but the vocs need some severe amping. The flow is very consistent and other then a few minor slips it was pretty well on beat. Thank you for not writing backwards :D

Checked out a few of you beats, and I'm diggin what I'm hearing. Quite a diverse set of sound you got rockin out. I'm tuned in!

TheFantasyClub responds:

I worked on them a lot, almost 2 months creating only sounds. Now I think I have enough for use them.
