Damn!

You ride this beat like a pro! Fuck man, good take here. Shall we continue to round 3?

Broken-Needle responds:

yes sir, lead the way

Improvement!

Your freestyling skills are definitely developing. You bring some tough presence with this track, I wet myself in fear. I bet if I got this beat I could make the worst freestyle ever!

Blasphem-E responds:

Bet you I could still do worse

Real words.

Both of ya'll bring some real life lyrics to this; I'm not even going to complain about sound quality because this is reality music. It should be raw and unrefined. Keep at it men, this is definitely a display of genuine lyricists.

BAF responds:

yeah man that's what im sayin.' we ain't makin' money off this shit, so what if mic quality isnt great, this shit is about lyrics and the message pure and simple, thanks for the review man.

Goddamn son!

Im loving the feel from this one. I wasnt feeling the funk break down too much, but it seemed to fit. I was really feeling the "primal" mood in the beginning though (it reminded my of some classic 90's east coast beats), so despite my feelings on funk part, I still gotta give this a 10 and a download! Respect ya art bro!

Different.

The melodies and accompaniment sound decent, but I'm not really diggin the sound of the trumpet on the hook; it sounds too in-human and computerized. Overall this one is dope, except for the hook, its just a little too fake sounding for my liking.

shaggyhaired responds:

Ahh yeah, I know what you mean.

It was hard to find a convincing Trumpet VST.

Thanks for your input.

I like it.

The writing is impressive; from beginning to end you stay on your topic. The lyrics are clever and I like the use of multis. Like Merc said, you could use a little more emotion and attitude in what you say, it sounds like you were reading these lyrics at some times, for example: "She STEEL ain't want u back?(pause)Aw what's the matter?". Clearly you didn't use any overdubs on this, so I gotta give ya props on that. Dubs could've added some more expression at parts; but of course you gotta master natural mic presence before you mix in extra vocals. I'm definitely digging the beat, MF Doom is elite.

Broken-Needle responds:

MF DOOM KILLLS IT, lol and ma mans Vast Aire in Supafrienz is like a wet dream come true, lmao. The whole thing is read cuz im a lazy fuck(dun got 2 much free time rly) but ye still got much more work to do. Glad u like it man, thanks a lot for the review=) (PS the lyrics are intended to have multiple meanings{jus like all my other songs} cuz that's the way I like em, appealing to lots of diff ppl.)

Diggin this!

Astrological vibes are awesome. The simplicity of the beat makes it a good listen. As soon as I listened to it I was busting some freestyles; I gotta gives props for the groove this beat sets. Titz man, this track is bumpin, even for an relatively older beat.

Go start your own record label already!

Smooth as butter and as groovy as my gramma's belly dancing...The horn is sex in a rubber boot. I would've liked to hear a piano solo though or something to make a little more spontaneous. Other than that, relaxing jazzy beat. Nicely done gentlemen.

haywirehaywire responds:

thanks man, i bet piano would definetily add, thanks for the suggestion.

I love the ambient backround noise

The chillness in this one is def dope. This track reminded me of an RPG from SNES or something, maybe Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana. This is just good music to chill out and mediate with. Nice work man.

PoyzenJam responds:

thanks man
glad you dig

Its what I do for fun.
