NGHH Battle
Blest- Expected expanded vocab that I'd expect from Blest. Def improvement on his delivery; kinda reminded me of MadFlex. His flow is consistant throughout, but lacks the dynamic changes to catch the attention, but his emotion he put into the bars was evident. The slave/whip line was bad, 1) already heard it used, so no points for extremely offensive creativity. 2) Slavery. The youtube friend comment was a flip waiting to happen.
Shef- Dope alliteration and assonance in his first. His flow was interesting to listen to. His verses had lots of character and enthusiasm. First verse a bit weak with the punches, but the second verse was a definate step up, great flips in there. The dubs on his verses were.... terrible. Made it really difficult to understand the lines, either they were delayed too much, or there were too much echo on em, anyway his clarity took a huge hit from that.
I hate to do this, but I gotta say this one is a draw. I thought Blest's lyrics were dope but they lacked personal shots. Shef had the flow and character but his clarity at times was not there. I could hear Blest's shots but they didn't do much damage, I missed a lot of Shef's shots, but the ones I heard had some punch.
TIE. DRAW. Overtime. Sorry :(
